It was just a reliable pick for a brief pause in Altoona with good price value. The indoor pool was a nice escape for the kids after a long day. Bring your own snacks. the kitchen is handy for meal prep.

Ask for kitchen utensils upon arrival. it enhances meal prep convenience during your stay.

during my stay, I loved how close this place was to the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum and the beautiful Lakemont Park, making it super easy to spend my weekends walking around and soaking in the sights.

The room was spacious, featuring a full kitchen with a sizable refrigerator and a dishwasher, making meal prep a breeze. Cleanliness was a highlight too, as the staff made sure everything was in order. Access to a 24-hour fitness center and a cozy outdoor patio with Weber grills and seating added extra fun to our stay.

Some appliances were missing.

The One-Bedroom Queen Suite offered ample space for a family, providing comfort during our stay. Having a full kitchen allowed for easy meal prep and saved a few credits.

Cleanliness was a significant issue. the kitchen counter had crumbs, and handprints smeared the body mirror upon arrival.

this hotel was a major letdown, cleanliness was absent, with crumbs in the kitchen and hand prints on mirrors. the pool? don’t even get me started on the odor, and the grills looked like they’d never seen soap. i expected a little extra treatment, like a welcome gift, but clearly that was too much to ask.

My kids wished the pool area was cleaner.

I had a pleasant stay at Towneplace Suites By Marriott Altoona. The staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive, quickly accommodating my requests. I particularly enjoyed the diverse and excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance as well as the spacious room, which was quite clean and well-appointed.

The pool area could use better upkeep.

We loved visiting the local zoo and the amusement park. The hotel was convenient with comfortable beds and a nice atmosphere. I'd recommend checking out the indoor pool and getting breakfast early to fully enjoy your day!

The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times, which made it hard to stay connected and plan our outings.

Friendly staff, excellent facilities, making for a great stay. I appreciated the convenient indoor pool and complimentary breakfast, as well as the ease of access to local attractions.

Free parking was great, but the Wi-Fi was often slow during my stay.
